Everett is the county seat of Snohomish County. It is the larges city in Snohomish County and the seventh largest in the state of Washington. It is only 25 miles north of Seattle Washington. The largest public marina on the west coast of the United States has it’s home in Everett, as does the largest building in the world by volume; the assembly plant for  Boeing’s 747, 767, 777, and the new 787.

Everett is also a U.S. Navy Homeport and is  home to the Port of Everett, an international shipping port, that brings trade, commerce, jobs and recreational opportunities to the city.

In 2003, Comcast Arena (previously known as Everett Events Center), opened Everett to tourism. The Arena hosts a variety of events from concerts to trade shows, hockey to graduations while the characteristic “Twin Masts” add inter  est to the Everett skyline.
